    The last picture of the exterior - Sheraton is not the Society Hill hotel - that is the Sheraton University City hotel.

    this hotel is right in old city, which is on the east side. lobby is pretty cool with an indoor atrium feel with lots of plants and greenery. it's very peaceful and relaxing. rooms are decent, not great or poor. Wooden Nickel steakhouse is pretty good. not one of the best in philly, but reasonably priced for what you get. Decent size gym with pool and jacuzzi. can't go wrong here.

    The hotel is close to a lot of great restaurants in the Old City area, close to all the historic sites in Philly. The hotel has about 4 floors of rooms, built around a nicely decorated courtyard (covered, of course), so the lobby area is nice for a quick meeting. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

    Rooms here were very clean and fresh-looking (not old and run down). Nice, modern decor. Bathroom looked a bit older, furnishings were not as nice as one would expect, given the nice bedroom decor.
