Just got back & had a wonderful time. The hotel is in a lovely, tranquil location - far from the glitzy and chintz of nama bay, but still close enough for you to visit every day if you wish. The beach is right on a coral, so access to the sea is from a jetty. Snorkelling is a must, the fish are beautiful and plentiful and you'll see them in the water from the beach, the food is good, the rooms very good. More than anything else, the level of service is outstanding and is why so many go back to the Renaissance. I'm fussy as hell and know you won't be disappointed. Just be careful when you go to Sharm; the weather can get really hot and it can take time to adjust. We were there end of June this year and it was hot around the clock. Enjoy your trip!
