Location is great if coming into the local airport and not wanting to venture out much further. But the hotel isn't very central to the strip, sure it's on the strip, but when walking, it can seem a million miles away from other big hotels like Bellagio, Caesar's Palace or the Venetian. Also the decor is beautiful with the 1940's Hollywood feel to it, but the rooms are nothing to rave about. Actually, our rooms was somewhat small and the bathroom was tiny. I was expecting much more from a hotel that some rave about. It is a nice place to hang out after hours though, there is a nice feel to the clubs inside the hotel and they are great for the young, hip scene! There is a really nice lounge just off the casino that is very relaxing with large plush couches and friendly service! And the spa, wow! I would stay at the MGM again for only one reason... The Grand Spa! Amazingly relaxing and very well stocked with services and amentities. Also the staff at The Grand Spa is very helpful and friendly. They have a great way of relaxing you and helping you let go, even if you are shy! Over all the hotel wasn't horrible but not my favorite place to stay. If you don't mind walking, then this is your place because it is huge and you will walk your legs off to get around it!

MGM Grand has become one of my favorite hotels on the Strip. You get good value for all the amenities. I like the large casino -- you can generally get a spot on a craps table whenever you want or find other tables to play. Their pool complex is awesome! The winding river is something to see -- and hang out in! Lots to look at!

The MGM Grand is a basic, decent Vegas Hotel. Location is great because it's on the Strip and near a movie theater, as well as many other casinoes. The rooms are okay, with nothign special but good enough to get you buy. The basic casino floor has a decent selection of tables and a few good attractions including a great lounge act and a cool club. But if you are looking for a hip scene that I would skip the MGM and hit the Hard Rock or Mandalay Bay or Rio, which just have a younger, more intense crowd.
