Somehow I got lucky on Hotwire and was able to stay at this Hyatt. My Hotwire price is the reason I gave it a 10 on value. The downtown location was super. I have stayed in other four star hotels downtown via Hotwire that, to me, were not nearly as impressive. The Hyatt lobby seemed to buzz with a lot of energy. The rooms were nicely decorated and restful -- the contrast of high energy when I wanted that and restfulness when I needed that made for a wonderful stay at this Hyatt.

We stayed the weekend in Dallas and had the best time! The front desk was busy and rushed us through check-in, but after that everything was great. The view from our room of the Dallas skyline was amazing. The light rail train took us from the hotel over to the West End for dinner. After that, we walked over to Dealey Plaza and the Grassy Knoll before walking back to the hotel. The rooms looked brand new and the inroom coffee-makers had a to-go cup...nice touch.
