- On May. 14, 2005, Anonymous posted:
- The hotel is overlooking the Plaza Santa Cruz, in an old church building. It is a one minute walk to the Plaza Mayor and a five minute walk to the Puerta del Sol (& metro station).
- The staff was VERY nice and almost all spoke English.
- Breakfast is available for 6 Euros.
- Not the quietest of hotels, but manageable.
- Rooms are oddly shaped & plainly decorated. Ask for an outside room on a higher floor for the best view/quieter. The hotel was very good about accomataing my request.
- My one issue was that guests are required to leave their room keys at the front desk when going out for the day. When I would return to the hotel, they did not ask for ID to get the key back. I didn't have any problems, but I would have felt more comfortable knowing that they check IDs before giving out room keys...
