    We are the owners of the Maya Beach Hotel in Placencia, Belize. This is just a little plug for our area. We're not going to pretend that this is an objective review! Placencia is right in the middle of the incredible environment of Southern Belize. Diving, snorkeling, fly fishing, sailing and kayaking keep you busy on the water. From here, you can also visit inland attractions like a jaguar reserve, howler monkey habitat, mayan ruins, caves, waterfalls and more.
